As therapists, we’re always wanting to do the best for our clients, aren’t we?
Many of us have spent at least the time it took to do our original training, keeping up with Continual Professional Development, as well as learning new techniques. So if we’re going to spend valuable resources on yet more training, it’s important for us to feel confident that it will offer some if not all of the following:
The Buttafly Technique is an accredited course by the Complementary Medicine Association and entitles you to be listed on our website as a practitioner.
The Technique itself refers to the specific positioning of the Buttafly in supine lying to evoke a release of the spine which invariably provides postural realignment and relief from back pain and sciatica.
It can be incorporated into any massage/bodywork system and has been shown to positively impact the chronic nature of back pain and reduce recurrent episodes.
I came upon the Buttafly Effect by chance, in the process, healing chronic sacroiliac joint pain that came about when I fractured my spine in a rollerblading accident.
Since then, I’ve used the Buttafly to help clients with all manner of problems – back, chronic pelvic pain and hip pain, scoliosis, psoas issues, poor posture, and many more. In doing so, I’ve refined the process and offer this course so that you may incorporate the technique safely and effectively into your existing work.
