Yoga offers you a wonderful way to connect mind and body, and this course provides a holistic approach to achieving and maintaining a healthy back.
Importantly, this course incorporates the Buttafly Effect, and our creator, TillyLou James will be sharing her experiences of the last five years of using the Standard Buttafly to facilitate an unwinding of the spine according to the natural intelligence of the body with people who have suffered all manner of back problems.
When we get into the feeling in and of our body, then emotions and energy shift and change, release and flow. The beauty of this work is that we don’t need to get into the history of an emotion. Of course, memories might come, but it’s in the felt sense of the emotion that this healing is to be had.
We will use movement, meditation, and breathing exercises, to help you develop greater awareness of your body. You will be guided to feel into stiffness, restrictions, and disconnect, all with the aim of helping to restore confidence and ease throughout your whole body for the benefit of your health and well-being.
You do not need to have previous experience of yoga to take part in Yoga for a Healthy Back and beginners are welcome – although you will need to be able to get up and down from the floor with ease.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to have a Standard Buttafly to participate fully.
TillyLou James is a Chartered Physiotherapist trained in Clinical Pilates, a yoga teacher, Lifestyle Prescriptions® health coach, and designer of the Buttafly; the revolutionary yoga block and aid for back care.
This is an online event that will be held over Zoom. You will need to download and install Zoom in order to attend.
