The Bespoke Buttafly has been in the pipeline since the very beginning. Indeed, the first proper prototype was made of wood.

Finding the right person to make the Bespoke Buttaflys has taken quite some time. It's been well worth the wait, though, because these are beautifully crafted with exquisite attention to detail.

The wood is sustainably sourced and currently available in English oak, ash, and Sapele, a type of African mahogany.

Craving a little more crafting and creativity, I'm finishing each one myself. First, I seal the wood with natural oils and then polish it with a blend of beeswax, linseed oil, carnauba wax and orange oil made by an award-winning company in Devon.

The oil and wax are free of harmful chemicals, child-safe, and food-safe.
